FROM BRITAIN, WITH HOPE

I cannot bring back the people I have lost.
But I can help someone else's family.

A personal appeal for families affected by the war in Ukraine. We are bringing our existing work collecting essential household supplies together with a new way for people in Britain to give financial support.

Personal testimony from the appeal organiser. Ukraine Hope is not a registered charity; Gift Aid is not available.

WHY THIS APPEAL MATTERS

From heartbreak,
a reason to help.

This war has taken members of my family, including my own child. Nothing can replace those we have lost. Their memory is why I want to help others. With volunteers and existing humanitarian partners, we have already been gathering practical household supplies. Now we hope to extend that work by raising funds for Ukrainian families in need.

A PERSONAL MESSAGE

I cannot change the past.
But perhaps we can change someone's tomorrow.

I have lost people I love. If sharing my story can help one more family find warmth, food or a little stability, then I want to try. If you can give, thank you. If you cannot, sharing this appeal helps too.

A MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISER

“I cannot bring back my child. But I can try to help someone else’s family.”

Children deserve care, stability and the opportunity to learn in safety. For families who have lost their homes or their ordinary routines, every act of kindness matters. Our appeal grows from personal loss and the practical humanitarian help our team is already organising.

Thank you for standing with Ukrainian families.

Our volunteers and partners have already worked to gather household goods and essential items. Financial donations are intended to complement this effort.

Building on practical help already underway

Our intended process focuses on accountable fundraising, recipient checks, documented transfers and transparent reporting.

01. Funds are raised

We collect voluntary donations through secure payments for our stated humanitarian purpose.

02. Recipients are checked

We will assess humanitarian needs and verify intended recipients and organisations before transfers.

03. Assistance is supported

Funds are intended for civilian emergency shelter, food, water, medicines and necessities.

04. Payments are documented

Donations, permitted expenses and humanitarian transfers will be recorded, with periodic reporting planned.

How donations are managed

Every donation accounted for

Funds are intended for verified humanitarian organisations, community groups or eligible individuals assisting war-affected civilians in Ukraine — particularly families without homes. Priority needs include food, safe drinking water, medicines, hygiene supplies and emergency shelter.

Documented transfers

Incoming donations, outgoing payments and permitted fundraising expenses will be recorded in the accounts of KURS-TRADE LIMITED. We aim to retain payment confirmations, receipts and appropriate evidence of assistance.

Public reporting

We intend to publish periodic summaries of funds raised, expenses and humanitarian payments. Larger campaigns may be featured, but identifiable donor information will be shared only with appropriate permission.

Costs disclosed

The organisers initially cover website and promotional costs. Reasonable documented fundraising, payment and transfer costs may later be deducted and must be disclosed before donations are accepted.

Responsible safeguards

We will verify prospective recipients and check applicable legal and sanctions requirements. We assess intended recipients and check applicable legal and sanctions requirements before humanitarian payments.

Transparency

Responsible handling of every contribution

Ukraine Hope is operated by KURS-TRADE LIMITED (Company No. 14626776), an England and Wales registered company, not a registered charity. Initial website and promotional materials are paid for by the organisers. Reasonable, documented processing, fundraising and transfer costs may be deducted from future donations, with those deductions disclosed before payment.

We aim to keep records of incoming and outgoing funds and to publish periodic summaries. You can read our Donation Terms for how contributions are handled.
