How We Work
Ukraine Hope is a volunteer-led humanitarian fundraising initiative intended to support civilians affected by the war in Ukraine. Our priority is people and families without homes or access to basic daily necessities.
1. Raising funds
We plan to raise voluntary contributions through our website and community awareness campaigns in the United Kingdom. Donations are not currently being accepted on this website. Payments will only be enabled after the required legal and payment-provider checks.
2. Identifying humanitarian needs
We intend to focus on food, drinking water, hygiene supplies, medicines, essential clothing and emergency accommodation support for displaced civilians.
3. Checking recipients
Before transferring funds we intend to check the identity and legitimacy of recipient organisations or individuals, the humanitarian purpose and any applicable sanctions restrictions. We will not claim to act for a named partner unless a relationship has been established.
4. Recording funds and costs
KURS-TRADE LIMITED will maintain accounting records of donations, permitted fundraising expenses, payment and transfer fees, and humanitarian transfers. We plan to retain appropriate bank confirmations, receipts, invoices and acknowledgements where available.
5. Reporting
We intend to publish periodic summaries of funds raised, costs incurred, assistance supported and available evidence of disbursement. Larger campaigns may be featured on this website. Donor names will not be published without appropriate permission.
