Privacy Policy

KURS-TRADE LIMITED · Version 1.0 · Updated 27 October 2026

1. Controller and contact

KURS-TRADE LIMITED (Company No. 14626776), 61 Valley Road, Walsall, West Midlands, WS3 3ER, United Kingdom, is the controller of personal information processed for Ukraine Hope. Privacy enquiries: kurstrade.info@gmail.com.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you interact with us, this may include your name, email address, enquiry messages and relevant correspondence; website security information such as IP address and device/browser data; and, when donations become available, donation value, time, reference, payment status and limited transaction information provided by the payment processor. We do not intend to store full card numbers or security codes. If humanitarian assistance is administered in future, proportionate recipient identity, eligibility and transfer information may be required.

3. Purposes and lawful bases

We will identify and document the lawful basis for each processing activity before that activity starts.

4. What is currently active

Our website is currently informational. Online donations, recurring payments, a donor database and marketing mailing lists have not been enabled. The website may process routine technical information for delivery and security through our hosting provider. Any new tracking or payment services will be described here before activation.

5. Payment processing

If online donations are enabled later, the payment provider and relevant privacy notice will be disclosed at checkout. Payment providers may process data under their own policies. Ukraine Hope will receive only information needed for donation administration, recordkeeping, customer support and applicable compliance.

6. Who may receive data

Where necessary, information may be shared with website hosting/security providers, future approved payment services, banks, accountants, professional advisers and competent regulators. If beneficiary services are implemented, verified recipients may receive only the data needed for lawful assistance. We do not sell personal information.

7. International transfers

Our suppliers or prospective beneficiaries may be outside the UK. Before personal data is transferred internationally, we will identify any applicable UK adequacy arrangements, safeguards or lawful exceptions and assess the relevant risks. Anonymous or aggregated information will be preferred where possible.

8. Retention

We keep data only while needed for the purposes explained above and for applicable legal obligations. Financial records, when created, will be retained for legally required periods. Contact correspondence, website security records and future marketing consents will follow documented retention criteria. We will delete or anonymise information when no longer needed unless lawful retention is required.

9. Security

We use appropriate security and access restrictions and aim to limit access to authorised persons. Online payment card data will be handled by approved payment services rather than stored on this website. No internet service is entirely risk-free.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Please read our Cookie Policy. Essential security and delivery technologies may be used. Optional analytics or marketing tracking requiring consent will not be activated until the appropriate choice has been obtained.

11. Your rights

Subject to UK GDPR conditions and exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time. Requests can be emailed to kurstrade.info@gmail.com. We may verify your identity and will respond within the applicable statutory timeframe.

12. Children and vulnerable people

Our online donation services, when introduced, will be aimed at adults. Where beneficiary information concerns children or vulnerable individuals, we will apply appropriate additional safeguards and minimise the data collected.

13. Public recognition

We will not automatically publish donor identities. We will seek appropriate separate permission before publicly recognising an identifiable contributor. Aggregate statistics may be published without naming individuals.

14. Automated decisions and your choices

We do not currently make decisions about individuals solely by automated means producing legal or similarly significant effects. Future payment providers may perform automated transaction screening under their own notices. You are not obliged to provide optional marketing information; without necessary payment or enquiry information, a requested service may not be possible.

15. Complaints

Contact us first at kurstrade.info@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk.

16. Changes

We may update this policy when services, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and date will be shown here; where required we will separately notify you or obtain consent.
